iPhone 6 review

The iPhone 6 marked a key turning point for Apple, as it introduced a new design and larger screen, leaving the iPhones of old in its wake. [Update: Our iPhone 6 review has been updated now that iOS 11 has arrived. It's still one of the best (and a cheaper price) two and a half years on.] See all Apple iPhone 6, Apple iPhone 6 16GB, Apple iPhone 6 64GB deals The iPhone 6 is now several years, and iPhone iterations, old, but it's still available and there are some great deals to be had for those looking for a low-cost Apple handset. Sure, it's not nearly as fast or powerful as Apple's new  iPhone 8 , this is 2014's still-impressive flagship that you may want to consider next to the  iPhone SE . So how did the  iPhone  6 come about? Well, back in 2013, despite record sales, the Cupertino brand was heading for a fall. It had been trading on the same phone for four years, and something big was needed to keep it current. So with that, the iPhone 6

iPhone 7 Review

If you're going to buy a new iPhone, this is the one to get – there's a slightly longer battery life, a better camera, fast innards and protection against water. However, many of the changes are slight, and the iPhone 6S, for the lower price, suddenly becomes a very attractive option. FOR Good low light camera Water resistant Double the internal capacity AGAINST Lacks clear upgrades Same design used for last three phones Battery life unimpressive If Apple had released the iPhone 7 in place of the  iPhone 6S  in 2015, it would probably have been the phone of the year. We're all used to the pattern of the S variants where there are minimal changes, but the myriad of changes on the  iPhone 7  would have been fantastic in place of the  iPhone  released a year and a bit ago. See all Apple iPhone 7 deals Instead the upgrades for the iPhone 7 didn't have such an impact in 2016 and it struggled to keep pace with devices released in 2017.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Review

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has long been usurped as the South Korean company's latest flagship handset, by the  Samsung Galaxy S8 , and with the Galaxy S9 just around the corner, some might question the wisdom of buying an S7 today. It's still a great phone. The Samsung Galaxy S7 was a beast of a smartphone on its release in 2016 and it's still a good performer now – certainly better than most  budget smartphones. And many of its best features, including the excellent camera and super screen, haven't changed all that dramatically. It's very reasonably priced these days as well. You can find one on  Amazon UK  for under £300 (or  Amazon US for under $500 ). The trouble is, competition at around this price is super hot right now, with the excellent  Honor 9  available for £350 and the incredible  OnePlus 5T  at £450, the latter boasting a dual-camera setup, great battery life and a big 6in edge-to-edge display. Even the Samsung Galaxy S8 isn't much more either at

iPhone X review

The iPhone X is the newest flagship phone from Apple. It comes with twin optically stabilized 12MP rear cameras, a 7MP front-facing camera with 'TrueDepth' technology, artificial background blur and specialized lighting effects, DNG Raw file capture, and of course is otherwise a highly capable and extremely speedy mobile device. And it should be, given the asking price: at an MSRP of $999, the iPhone X (pronounced iPhone Ten, which I'll admit I'm still getting used to) is priced comfortably higher than many of its current competitors that also come with an emphasis on photographic prowess. With the software and hardware combined, does the iPhone X truly offer image quality comparable to so-called

samsung Galaxy S8 review

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a phone that should be one of the very first you  look at when deciding which new phone you buy. The large, bezel-less display  is truly iconic and beautiful, and the screen quality excellent. The fingerprint scanner being placed on the back of the phone is a poor decision from Samsung, as well as the iris scanner / facial recognition not working anywhere near well enough to be a real consideration. However, these aren’t deal breakers, and the improved battery life and tweaked camera will be among the best you’ll find on a top-end flagship. The Galaxy S8 is an expensive phone - have no doubts about that - but it’s one that we consider to be well worth the investment. FOR Amazing, large display Huge power Great camera AGAINST Irritating biometric unlocking Very expensive at launch Bixby pointless

oppo f5 review

"Trendy" tends to get thrown around on today's mobile scene quite a lot. It is just one of those loose-fitting adjectives that, through overuse, has practically lost all meaning. Still, looking at the Oppo F5, we can't really think of any better way to describe the company's new "selfie expert". It literally covers all the current trends: Trim bezels, ultra-wide aspect, AI-powered selfies, Apple-style face unlock and heavily iOS-inspired UI - all accounted for. All the while, concepts like a dual selfie setup have already been pushed to the side, just to stay in tune with the tone of the day. We get it, being trendy and staying relevant is important, especially in an increasingly over-saturated market. The BBK Electronic Corporation really seems to take that idea to heart, as the Vivo V7+ and the OnePlus 5T can both testify, with their equally speedy adoptions on the trendy ultra-wide aspect ratio.
